PINK FLOYD ‘THE WALL’ HARVEST SHDW 411 FIRST PRESSING ROUND CORNER INNER SLEEVES STAMPER CODES LP 1 – A2 + B2, LP 2 – A3 + B5 IN FIRST ISSUE GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH "WORDS AND MUSIC - ROGER WATERS. PRODUCED BY DAVID GILMOUR, BOB EZRIN, ROGER WATERS" CREDITS

Sleeve Condition: Mint: a lovely sleeve free from bumped corners, stickers, sticker removal damage or marking of any sort with a nice, flat spine. Inner sleeves are the original rounded cornered ones and are in similar condition.  This is the very first issue, no barcode obviously, but also differentiated by the order and brevity of the credits; quite different from later issues. Later issues do not list the members of Pink Floyd.  First pressing Has "Produced By David Gilmour ,Bob Ezrin, Roger Walters” , towards the edge of inner sleeve right hand side about half way up and "Words And Music By Roger Walters” in quite small print enclosed in 1 brick, half way down right hand side inner sleeve. The Much more common later releases had these amended to show Roger Walters’ name much more prominently. Please note that the outer sleeve sticker is missing from this copy.

Record 1 Condition: Mint: Record shows no centring marks round the spindle holes indicating that it has seen little or no turntable use.  It could well be unplayed though I have play-tested them myself.  Normally, even taking the records out of the card sleeves will leave them with sleeve withdrawal marks.  It is no exaggeration to say that both records are in archive condition, displaying no signs of even being handled.  All four sides play flawlessly.

Record 2 Condition: Mint: in exactly the same condition as record 1 though with one important note; there is quite a bit of an edgewarp to this one.  It plays perfectly with no kind of tracking problem and I have played this on both my Rega Planar 3 and my Linn LP12 without any problem at all, but it is a defect albeit a manufacturing one.  In every other respect it is perfect, playing flawlessly.

Apart from the warp on record 2, a Mint copy and a brilliant example of outer gatefold, inner sleeve and both records.  A solid collectable and really very rare as a genuine original issue.  Early pressings are really hard to find now.  The very first sleeve, of which this is one, is an even harder find and there really aren’t many left like this in circulation.  Once a collector has one, it stays in the collection! This is a first-class copy with very early stamper codes and original, round cornered inner sleeves.

Please note that shipping charges are for a standard double LP.  They do not include insurance or tracking.  If you would like the latter, please email me before paying and I will invoice for the service at cost.  Please see details after tracklisting.
