On sale here is a fantastic copy of Pink Floyds classic album................................ "THE WALL"
This is the very genuine first UK pressing with the impossibly early matrix numbers A2 / B2 / A1 / B2. You try and find one earlier than this! Not only is this the earliest you might find, but it is also in the most fantastic cared - for condition. The cover is almost perfect. The inner sleeves are as good as you will ever find. The vinyl surfaces are stunning, and the audio reproduction, as you would expect from the very earliest pressing, is out of the very top drawer.
I have no problem at all in calling this very rare item as probably as good as you could find anywhere. There is just so little, if anything, to fault. I am sure that the winner of this will be more than pleased. I am grading this with a little reserve, so the winner will, at the very least, get what they expect. It should actually arrive better than the winner might realistically expect!

- Vinyls grade as excellent.
- Audio performance grades as excellent.
Although this was pressed in huge amounts to cope for the expected, (and realised) demand, to find a copy with the earliest matrix numbers in this condition is quite a rare treat. The collective parts can be described thus:-
- First press cover in cream misaligned brick.
- Inner sleeves with 9" thumb notch.
- No bar-code and no band member credits.
- Matrices are A2 / B2 / A1 / B2.
Stored within a heavy-duty plastic outer sleeve from day one. The cover has no problems except for the very tiniest hint of age colouring, which is far from evident. There is NO storage (shelf) wear whatsoever. The inner sleeves have no edge damage at all. The vinyl surfaces are free from all but the most minimal of marks. Labels show very little evidence of play. This is a remarkably well preserved mega early UK pressing, and I have no hesitation at all in calling it one for the most discerning of collectors. Copies of this calibre and early press are so hard to find.
On sale with a low starting price and no hidden reserve. Highest bidder wins. Simple! If I have miscalculated the postal cost (this is quite a heavy album with its solid construction and inserts), I will refund the difference in full, just as soon as I have an accurate price.
