Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE original Terre Haute/Mastering Lab gatefold first pressing from 1979 on Columbia with 1AE/1G/1AD/1AC matrix suffixes etched in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one through four, both original glossy printed inner sleeves with complete lyrics, original transparent custom hype sticker affixed to the front cover with catalog number at the bottom, NO barcode and NO band member names on the inside gatefold!!! Subsequent pressings had a barcode in the top right hand corner on the rear cover and all four band member names in a single brick underneath the headmaster on the right hand side of the inside gatefold as illustrated in photos 8 & 9 (please note: these 2 photos are ONLY included for reference to show the difference between reissues and first pressings-the LP you are bidding on has NO barcode or band member names). LPs are a gorgeous near mint minus. Cover is a beautiful VG++/NM-. An absolute high grade copy with the original hype sticker. This one is for serious collectors. You will not be disappointed.
