This is a simply beautiful double vinyl, and 40 years old AMAZING !!! definitely a final upgrade example of this first issue 1979 Pink Floyd album release, The Wall.
There are 2 LP's on Harvest Record Labels with their original rounded corner and 9" thumb notch die -cut inner lyric card LP sleeves and housed in their gate-fold sleeve
Side 1 matrix and markings, SHSP 4111 A-3 U Side 2 matrix and markings, SHSP 4111 B-7 U Side 3 matrix and markings, SHSP 4112 A-1 U Side 4 matrix and markings, SHSP 4112 B-8 U
Notes
1st pressing with picture labels in gatefold sleeve with plastic sticker that adheres to the sleeve, but is not permantly stuck on.Inner sleeves also feature the "Wall" design with lyrics (graphics by Gerald Scarfe).
The track order on the inners is not the same as featured on the album.
Specific to the first issue sleeve:
No bar code on the back cover.
The Wall is cream coloured, not true white. The bricks on the front cover are not aligned right to the bottom of the cover on the outside or inside.
Both LP's play with a stunning as new sound quality through all tracks without faults.
Both LP's are in stunning Mint condition with beautiful surfaces to all four sides.
Both printed card inner LP sleeves with rounded corners are in immaculate Near Mint condition , with NO seam splits.
The gate-fold sleeve is in Near MINT condition with tiny age toning and with NICE CLEAN edges and spine edge, perfect corners and perfect gate-fold centre
AND WITH FRONT REMOVABLE STICKER (usually missing !!)

Genre: Rock Style: Prog Rock, Classic Rock Year: 1979 Notes: January 1979:Pink Floyd began seven months of intermittent recording at Super Bear Studios and Studio Miraval in France on their next album, The Wall.
1 September 1979:
Two months of work began on The Wall at CBS Studios, New York with The New York Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor/arranger Michael Kamen. Floyd later worked on The Wall at Los Angeles' Cherokee Studios and Producers Workshop.
1 November 1979:
Pink Floyd began a week's recording and mixing at The Producers Workshop in Los Angeles.
23 November 1979:
Pink Floyd's single Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2 (B-side: One Of My Turns) was released in the UK. It was the group's first UK single since Point Me At The Sky in 1968, and spent four weeks at No. 1 in the charts.
30 November 1979:
The Wall was released in the UK and reached No. 3 in the charts.
8 December 1979:

1. A single sheet of wrap-around cardboard with the seam across the inner top edge of the cover.
2. Two sheets of cardboard, with seams at the top and bottom of the cover. Cardboard is heavy thickness.
There are two 1st pressing lyric inner sleeve variants (Both are on thick card with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch at the top):
1. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number of the specific record listed on a single line in the lower right corner.
2. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number (SHDW 411), pressing number (OC-158 63410), and the record number (SHSP 4111) in the lower right corner.
Mastered at The Mastering Lab (Los Angeles, CA, USA).
Recorded at Superbear (Miravel, France), Producers Workshop (Los Angeles, CA, USA) & C.B.S. (New York, NY, USA) between April and November 1979.
