EVALUATION...

We visually inspected and fully play graded this Lp on our audiophile Hi-End system.  

NOTE: For newcomers buying vinyl LP albums please note that analog records can offer superior quality and sound better than CDs, however some SURFACE NOISE is to be expected, especially with used records. Rather than solely judge a record with a Goldmine type of visual system (Mint-, etc) our play graded evaluations are weighted on a record's actual performance with any audible defects we hear described.  Records which appear "near mint" but have audio imperfections are accurately reported.  Normal noise can include occasional background (groove wall) noise, pops, crackling or ticks.  These are more noticeable in quiet passages, typical of classical or chamber music. We take pride in our strict grading evaluations of the playback audio quality and (as a rule) offer only superior sounding (quiet) LP Albums for your enjoyment. We take the position that occasional background noise should not seriously affect the sound.  Minor visual imperfections can be forgiven if they do not interfere with the reproduction.  We report on spindle hole centering and any warps be they simple or complex.  Generally, records with such severe defects are not listed and only allowed if the rarity or merit of the recording commands a special consideration. 


COVER: The album cover is clean in appearance with semi-glossy, bright saturated inks.  The Deluxe Gatefold is in near pristine condition.  Nice corner tips, no splits, the spine is straight.  Original Sleeves and New Acid Free Sleeves are provided.  As mentioned the Gatefold is beautiful and sure to satisfy.  Please note the photo detail of the gold foil Promo sticker located on the album cover back, top left corner.   (See Photo)  Packed professionally in sturdy carton with vinyl placed outside of Album Cover for safe undamaged arrival.


SOUND: These are two beautiful used original pressings (promo labels)  with very quiet, near pristine surfaces, excellent stereo staging and great dynamics.  Little if any ticks or pops are heard throughout.  Basically these records have seen occasional use since purchased.  Side one has a hint of a sleeve skuff but does not sound.  We didn't hear any distortion.    No warps.    Spindle holes are perfectly centered.  It's hard not to get immersed in these classic performances beginning with "In The Flesh"  all the way through to "Outside The Wall."  The sound effects in general are both spatial and palpable, especially the helicopter's vivid entry and departure have never sounded more visceral and complete in creating a "you are there" feel.   Ditto for the wall to wall sound on the cuts with chorus.   Recommended as  a must for any serious fan who loves the absolute best in music and sound.

These 33.3 RPM records have been well taken care of (properly stored) since purchased and has been kept upright in a dry, temperature regulated Lp record library.  They should, upon your playback, achieve quiet surfaces and terrific vintage sound!  We are audiophiles and are completely familiar with the lore of records and the technical requirements for superior playback.  Recommended as a used record of impeccable vintage sound.

Record(s) can be combined; all packaging is at actual cost. We use sturdy record mailer cartons; your Lp(s) and Cover(s) are well protected.  ORDER PROCESSED WITHIN 1 DAY.  

COMBINED SHIPPING INFO: We combine all Lp purchases into one shipment using a box specifically made for shipping multiple records.  The record will be placed outside the album cover in the new inner sleeve.  Original sleeve included with shipment.

We charge by weight... you can use the USPS Shipping Calculator for all estimates. Starting at 1 lb. for the first record and carton, please add @ 10 oz per additional single record. We'll be happy to email you a quote for multiple purchases. At Auction Closing we will automatically send you an invoice showing combined shipping costs for all of your purchases. We weigh the actual Lp purchases in the box they will be shipped in.
