Description
This first press of The Wall is in superb condition. In fact I have never seen one better. Both vinyls have either not been played or barely played such is their Near Mint condition. Under a bright light I can only detect the faintest of hairlines on the last track of Side Three. I cannot stress just how good the quality is of these two vinyls after 35 years, especially for a rare first press.

The gatefold cover is also in superb condition. It has the off white/cream colour denoting an early press with no fading over the passage of time. The bricks are not aligned at the bottom and of course there are no band credits on the inside cover and no bar code on the back cover. It has slight wear to the opening edge towards the bottom but only very minimal.
The lyric sleeves (early rounded corners) are in wonderful condition also. Each have a nine inch thumb notch at the top and Sides 2 and 4 have the catalogue number (SHDW 411), pressing number (OC-158 63410), and the record number (SHSP 4111) in the lower right corner.
This copy also has the transparent plastic sticker, not all do, not even all first press copies.
Overall this is a superb first press with extremely clean vinyls and a wonderful gatefold including superb lyric inners.
