Terms Lost Groove specializes in deleted and back catalogue vinyl & CDs. This generally implies that the majority of items in my stock are in used condition, simply because it is impossible to guarantee sourcing original items in brand new condition when they have long since been deleted or are out of print at the manufacturers.
However, I do also stock items in brand new condition when I am lucky enough to source stock that is mint and has never been played. This may come from a number of sources such as warehouse and shop clearances or from collectors who never even open or play an item after purchase etc.
Within eBay the first indication as to an items condition should be the Item Specifics, this will tell you immediately if an item is new or used. Then check the bottom of my item description, after the tracklisting, this is where I grade the vinyl or disc and its sleeve, covers, inlays and inserts, and any other special accompanying items such as limited edition posters or packaging etc.
Every item I sell on eBay is professionally cleaned (if required), visually inspected and graded in accordance with the recognized UK standard, Record Collector’s grading system, as specified in the current edition of their Rare Record Price Guide. I hope you will appreciate the fact that, as a sole trader, it is impossible for me to listen to every item I sell and I am not always able to provide MP3 soundclips due to my limited resources.
All of the items I sell are genuine originals, not fake or bootlegs. The release and tracklisting information detailed in the item description is sourced from the Discogs music database, the online community for music collectors Worldwide. That information has been validated by a team of expert moderators and is current at the time of listing.
