Side 1: Astronomy Domine, Lucifer Sam, Matilda Mother, Flaming, Pow R. Toc H., Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk. Side 2: Interstellar Overdrive, The Gnome, Chapter 24, The Scarecrow, Bike.   THE RECORD   Hello, this is a used/original mono copy of this classic album from 1967. It is in good shape and plays without any jumps/skips. It DOES however have crackle/hiss and some distortion as you would expect from a record of this age. I've done some online research and found out some details such as it's stamper numbers which i've listed below. The vinyl itself (please see photos for visual grading) is clean, but has surface scratches and some marking on the centre labels around the spindle hole. It plays well on my Rega RP6 turntable though, and if you can put up with some crackle/distortion it's a treat. My favourite Floyd album by far!   Stampers   Side One: 1/GG   XAX 3419-2 Side Two: 1/GM   XAX 3420-1
Black Columbia labels with silver text, and a blue "Columbia Records Magic Notes Trademark" at the top, and a blue "Columbia" in the centre. Underneath the blue "Columbia" it says "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions. See price lists." Has the letters "K" and "T" stamped on side 1 either side of the spindle hole. These were the UK tax stamps and indicate that the tax was paid for this album. At the bottom of the label, it says "Made in Gt. Britain."   The font used on the labels looks similar to Times Roman (see photos). This is a different font to many i've seen listed on here, the best website i could find had this to say ... "Some copies of this issue have been found with a slightly different font on the labels, and with the layout of the song titles and credits altered. For example, the song writing credits for Interstellar Overdrive on side 2 have been moved to under the song title as opposed to being next to the song title"   THE OUTER SLEEVE & INNER SLEEVE   Strong front laminated sleeve. No damage to edges, some slight discolouration on the white back edges. Spine readable, but quite thin. Has the ‘File under POPULAR : Pop Groups’ text on upper right hand corner of rear sleeve. Overall the sleeve is in great condition especially given it’s age. See photos for a better idea.   Has the original EMI black and white paper inner sleeve (which has become slightly discoloured over the years) On the front is an EMI logo at the top centre, with "Add these outstanding LPs to your collection" at the top. 16 LP covers are pictured in the middle including Both Sides of Herman's Hermits, and "Remember-the new Emitex cleans and preserves your records" and "Patents applied for" at the bottom. On the back is an EMI logo at the top centre, with "the greatest recording organization in the world" at the top, 16 LP covers are pictured in the middle including the Beatles-Revolver, and "E.M.I. Records (The Gramophone Company Ltd.) Hayes - Middlesex - England, Made and Printed in Great Britain" at the bottom.     I've tried to give you as much detail here as possible, but please view photos to see any visual queries for yourself. Please remember this is an old and often played original LP. If you are expecting something flawless and mint condition this is not for you.
