VINYL CONDITION

I have given a Near Mint grade here that applies to both these extremely well maintained albums. They both have the shiny, pristine appearance of new vinyl and neither of them have any damage, absolutely nothing other than the vaguest suggestion that both records have been played only a few times. The spindle wear, or lack of it, backs up this theory; this is not the kind of wear caused by heavy usage! Both records have no marks or defects in the vinyl, there is nothing other than the very occasional, totally non-sounding paper scuff.

SOUND

The audio clarity is absolutely superb, a real treat for fans of great quality vinyl. There is an absolute minimum of surface noise to report, the run-in grooves are close to silent, and even better is the fact that over all four sides I only heard one or two faint pops, if that!

COVER TYPE

Gatefold sleeve with two side openings and original title sticker on the front; with two card inner sleeves

COVER CONDITION

This is a great looking, well cared for album sleeve. There are no signs of abuse or over-handling in evidence and the whole package just has to be given a grade of Near Mint. The artwork still looks sensational and has not been defaced with any writing or sticker removal. The vinyl has not engraved any ring-wear into the sleeve, all you can see is a faint circle impression when held to light. The spine and the edges are all smooth and the only bit of minor scuffing is on the bottom edge where there is the tiniest of early stage splits. Both inner sleeves are immaculate with no folds, rips or seam splits so overall, this is a very well cared for package that remains a sensational looking piece.

I do not profit on packaging. All records are sent in professional mailers with stiffeners and polythene sleeves in which the disc will be removed from the sleeve for extra protection. I take great care with my packaging and want to make sure the records arrive in the same condition they left me. The recorded option is now compulsory because too many buyers claim their items do not arrive when they are sent without any form of tracking, so with recorded packages we all know exactly what’s going on with the delivery and records no longer disappear down a big postal service black hole!
