Description
PINK FLOYD-THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
Original UK lp on SHVL804
I MUST START BY SAYING THAT THIS IS A BEAUTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Without doubt,it is the best quality sound I have ever found on a Dark side of the Moon record. No skips or jumps,no loud pops or ticks. On the vast majority,it is a perfect sound.I have sold many copies of this lp but this has been by far the best for sound quality. It has been a well looked after lp.I HAVE NEVER GRADED A RECORD AS MINT BEFORE AS FAULTS CAN ALWAYS BE FOUND BUT THIS IS AS NEAR AS IT GETS.It is a beauty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The faults are minimal.Initials written top left and back left of sleeve in dark pen-very hard to see.Small initials written on one side of label-again,very hard to see.
History-This lp was obtained from someone who bought it,played it once to tape it and then put it away untill now-I suspect this is why it has superb audio quality.
Sleeve-Printed and Made by Garrod and Lofthouse.A very nice gatefold sleeve showing storage marks and age wear. Some edge wear and apart from other faults mentioned, very respectable.
Inner- Original inner has the two FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON STICKERS,affixed to front and rear. This was common practice in days of old.
Posters-THE TWO POSTERS ARE MINT AND HAVE OBVIOUSLY NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED.
Labels- Beautiful showing very little sign of play.
Vinyl- Matrix A-10 and B-9 (stamped). The playing surface gleams with a rich full gloss. It looks like new on both sides.Under bright light it is hard to see a mark.
A true gem and not to be missed !!!!!!!!!!!!
