Description
I believe this to be an early first pressing of this classic album.
Side 1 is in pretty good shape, plays well, apart from a bit of popping and crackling early on. I wonder if it were to have a deep clean it would make it a lot better, but I don’t have the ability to do that. By the time “Dogs” starts I couldn’t hear any more popping and crackling, certainly nothing that stands out.
Side 2 has an obvious scratch, visible in the photos, but plays similarly to side 1, in that the crackling and noise seems to go after a minute or so. Although it did skip once, I think where the scratch begins on the record. Between the tracks is a little audible popping.
The sleeve is in really nice condition considering it was kept in a wardrobe in a squished spot for a good number of years. There’s one obvious scratch on the back which I’ve tried to show in the photos.
The inner sleeve is also in really good condition and is the original black cardboard with rounded corners and a 9 inch notch on the opening edge.
Thanks for looking & I’ll happily answer any questions people are sure to have.
