WOW!!! MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original second STEREO Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” issue released in Chile in 1976 by EMI ODEON CHILENA S.A. (Emi Chile), catalog number 16013, licensed from CBS USA, matrix numbers: AL 33453 1A 2A B HTM in Side 1 and BL 33453 1A 2A 1 in Side 2 (in both sides the “1A” is scratched out), with BRIGHT BLUE FRONT COVER. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND!!! And see the picture, this record is in superb condition!!! And remember we are very conservatives for grading our records…

“WISH YOU WERE HERE” was released in Chile in 1976 with an UNIQUE COVER, totally blue in front cover, with a big circle printed (no a sticker) featuring a mechanical handshake with the four elements and titles of the songs around, and back cover white with  the diver photo black, credits and lyrics of the songs. But what makes this record a rarity it’s that this issue is a full laminated flipback cover!!! Yes, it’s not the cover made of 2 separate thick pieces of paper as listed in The Pink Floyd Archives site (http://www.pinkfloydarchives.com/DChiLPPF.htm), this is the real Chilean full laminated flipback cover and as all of you can see in the picture it’s in superb condition!!!

Something to know about this abum released in Chile is that we know 2 issues with 2 presses each of them. The first of them has the cover made of 2 single sheets kept together by an outer plastic bag and the second has a full laminated flipback cover with front cover pasted on the flips. These laminated covers come in two clolours, pale blue and bright blue. Check my other records listed, I have 3 presses listed!!! This is the flipback cover with bright blue front cover.

Yes, yes, yes… Another REAL FIND, another rarity from Chile!!! How many times have you seen this record in eBay before? Extremely rare and almost impossible to find in good conditions, Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” with full laminated flipback cover!!!

The cover was already described and it’s in VG+ or EX- condition, clean, no missing parts, no rips, no writings, very very faint ring marks and only very very minimal wear in the mouth. The record is in superb EX or EX+ condition, glossy, clean and with some light hairlines which don’t affect sound at all. Labels on both sides, orange CBS with “DISCOS CBS” in white letters, are in NM+ condition, absolutely clean and clear. The sound is great, it’s in EX- or EX condition, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), mostly NM-, only with some soft pops here and there which don’t distract at all. Near to the end of the second side I hear a not so light pop, so I guess this record could need a vacuum cleaning to get all the sound quality you can already hear like it is. Overall a great record with a very nice look and still a great sound quality after 35 years!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
