Description

Welcome to Heart of Wax - Vinyl online record shop. I shall endeavour to post up as many exciting records up here that I find. Usually all from private collections which I've sourced. I'm happy to post out records to all you lovely people of the United Kingdom. Generally each record is secondhand and has been played. All have been cleaned and listened to by myself. And if there are any faults or defects, I will provide them in an honest description below.

PINK FLOYD - WISH YOU WERE HERE

UK first pressing from September 1975. A1 & B7 matrix numbers. Pinched spine on the top and bottom edges.

A loose concept record ultimately dedicated to Syd Barrett. The record flows at a delicate, melodic pace. It's a lot warmer than DSOTM. David Gilmour's solo's fit in wonderfully with the rest of the band's interplay. I don't think you could say there's one archetypal Pink Floyd sound or an album to find that on. But this goes close to that mainstream, blossoming sound that everyone has found a place in their heart for.

CONDITION

Sleeve - VG+ - some minor bumps and scuffs. Great shape. No postcard.

LP - VG - some light surface marks. Nothing which can affect play.

Lovely clean coloured picture labels.

POSTAGE

Due to price this record is available with postage paid for by me.

OR

Local collection via my house or my record stall (when available) - FREE

I package each record using the 'cardboard and bubble wrap sandwich method.' Sleeve and LP are kept separate within the postage sleeve. It will arrive to your house looking very tasty but please don't attempt to eat it for your dinner. I only recommend popping it on your record player.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE

I have offered European and international postage to people on other records which I sell. However one particular continental customer has sent through some horrible feedback and been rather abusive - so I'd prefer to now only ship to somewhere in the UK from here on in. Shame really that we all can't get along. But that's the modern world for you.

It doesn't mean I won't ship abroad but you'll have to send me a message so I can figure out a postage price and whether or not I'm happy to ship this, or any item out to you. Everyone deserves a second chance.

All the best.
