Description
PINK FLOYD Wish You Were Here 1975 UK HARVEST *COMPLETE* RARE SIDE OPENING INNER
PINK FLOYDWish You Were Here
UK HARVEST (SHVL 814) FIRST ISSUE (September 1975)
COMPLETE IN ITS ORIGINAL BLACK SHRINK-WRAP WITH THE 'WISH YOU WERE HERE' ROBOT HANDSHAKE STICKER, THE ORIGINAL 'CUT CORNER' INNER SLEEVE (RARE SIDE-OPENING VARIANT), THE FIRST ISSUE 'PINCHED SPINE' COVER AND THE FIRST ISSUE SERRATED EDGE GLOSSY POSTCARD
AN OUTSTANDING *NEAR MINT* ORIGINAL COPY DELIVERING EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN SOUND
MATRIX NUMBERS: SHVL 814 A-1 / SHVL 814 B-7 HTM
MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 7/OMR and 1, 2/OO
Side 1: Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part One) / Welcome To The Machine
Side 2: Have A Cigar / Wish You Were Here / Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part Two)
LABELS: NEAR MINT
Clean, unmarked labels with just a few light spindle traces
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces shine like-new - unmarked in normal light with just harmless wispy hairlines from the inner visible under bright light
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Sensational sound quality - crystal clear, clean and sharp and my play-check at volume found practically nothing to fault - just the (very) occasional one-off tick noted - absolutely nothing really - barely worth a mention - an exceptional copy - the cleanest I have heard in a long, long while
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT/ SHRINK WRAP: EXCELLENT
The cover still retains the original black shrink wrapping with the WYWH sticker.
This wrapping is very delicate, easily damaged and normally removed - but this one is in great condition and apart from the withdrawal at the opening edge the wrap covers the rest of the sleeve (no holes). The pinched spine edges on the sleeve underneath are clearly evident beneath the wrap
INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
Rare side-opening, rather than top opening variant - seldom come across these and it’s clean, sharp and fresh - no seam splits
POSTCARD: MINT
The original serrated edge postcard (printed on thick stock) is glossy, clean and unmarked - no bends or creases
POST & PACKING:
A PROTECTIVE POLY SLEEVE, NEW ANTI-STATIC LINER, QUALITY BOX (NOT ENVELOPE) MAILER AND AMPLE STIFFENERS ARE ALWAYS USED TO ENSURE THAT YOUR RECORD ARRIVES SAFELY
