PINK FLOYD - 'Wish You Were Here'  -   1975/6 (?)     QUADRAPHONIC   LP  -      (Cat#   Harvest   Q4SHVL 814)

Comes with the stickered black cellophane wraparound sleeve, postcard and inner lyric sleeve!!!!!!!!

 Quality Quad pressing of this classic Floyd album.   One of these recently sold on ebay for over £100 and that was missing the postcard and the black plastic outer sleeve !!!!

CONDITION:       RECORD HAS BEEN PLAY TESTED.      GRADED USING  THE  U.K.  MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM.     See below for full details.    

Record is in at least EXCELLENT condition - Vinyl very well looked after!!!!   Only a couple of very light surface marks which do not affect play.   Buyer will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.           I'm going to err on the side of caution and grade the cover as VG and explain my reasons for this.  Apart from some light creasing along the opening, the black cellaphane outer sleeve is starting to fray a little at the bottom and the white cover underneath is visable (see pic 1).  Please be reassured that the black cellophane is still firmly attached to the cover and is not loose.     The inner sleeve has written on the top corner in blue ink  "PINK FLOYD- WISH YOU WERE HERE- ME 4.25" (see pic 2).   This is from the second-hand record shop from which I bought the record 25 years ago.  Other than that inner sleeve is EXCELLENT.       POSTCARD is in MINT condition.         

Despite what Record Collector magazine says, or in this case doesn't say, is that the Quad edition did originally come with the POSTCARD and BLACK OUTER SLEEVE.    Inner sleeve also has the Quadraphonic System logo printed in the bottom along with the albums catalogue number.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading System  - Vinyl

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
