Description
PINK FLOYD.
WISH YOU WERE HERE.
1979 UK HARVEST RECORDS PICTURE DISC SHVL 814 P.
This is a very rare LP as only 1000 were pressed back in 1979.
This was sold in the Pink Floyd box set Our First xi that was issued in 1979.
The cover of the LP has the added P with the number. on the spine
Please note when I got this LP it was missing the black wrap. I took this wrap from another 70`s original UK pressing.
The sticker does NOT state picture disc. I think this package looks far better having the black wrap on the cover. The wrap is split along the top but it still looks good as you will see in the pictures.
The Cover / VG condition. / The cover has a 2" split on the top from the disc hitting it. The cover has some age wear and the white is a bit dirty. The Record / VG+ condition. The mark as seen in the last picture is a small manufacturing error as the picture has a small line break. This is not a scratch!
The line is at around 11 o clock on side 2 and does not hardly notice when looking at the disc as you will see. I just want to state all. as I try to do with all my sales.
The disc is still clean and for a vintage picture disc it plays pretty well indeed.
I played both sides of this LP tonight. Black vinyl will sound better but this still sounds pretty good for a picture disc with some surface sound as it is a picture disc!
The Inner / VG+ condition. The inner is in nice shape with rounded corners.
The Postcard EX condition. A super clean example with the correct wavy edges.
Low starting bid for this mega rare record!
The record will be sent via registered post as it is so rare.
I use the UK grading system of Bad / Poor / Fair / Good / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Thanks for looking.
