HERE WE HAVE A REALLY SUPERB, UK HARVEST (SHVL 814) FIRST ISSUE (September 1975) OF PINK FLOYD'S OUTSTANDING,"Wish You Were Here" LP, COMPLETE IN ITS ORIGINAL BLACK SHRINK-WRAP WITH THE 'WISH YOU WERE HERE' ROBOT HANDSHAKE STICKER, THE ORIGINAL 'CUT CORNER' INNER SLEEVE AND THE FIRST ISSUE SERRATED EDGE GLOSSY POSTCARD

A SUPERB COPY OF THIS MUCH SOUGHT AFTER *COMPLETE* FIRST PRESSING WHICH SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING

NOTE ON THE AUDIO REPRODUCTION OF WYWH: In my experience this LP, along with The Wall and The Final Cut is probably one of the most problematic Pink Floyd LPs with regards to the audio quality
I have found that even mint looking copies of this LP can play with lots of excessive clicking, surface noise and even distortion (with the first solo guitar break on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" being especially problematic in this regard)
Many, many copies of this album have passed through my hands over the years and I know how difficult it is to find a decent copy which will play with the minimum of issues, especially on higher-end systems. I am therefore pleased to report that this one is a SUPERB example and in all honesty I really do not think you will find one which sounds (or indeed looks) that much better

LABELS: The Harvest Picture labels are MINT - CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO evident spindle traces. This copy has hardly EVER (if ever) been played
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN and are practically UNMARKED. There are some light hairlines caused by the unkind thick card inner sleeve but these have NO audio consequence
VINYL Audio: STUNNING - Absolutely OUTSTANDING audio delivery in every respect. Covers a fantastic dynamic range with all frequencies BRIGHT and CLEAR. The audio is really AMAZING - CRYSTAL CLEAR, BEAUTIFULLY RICH, WARM and VERY STRONG. As I mentioned earlier this can be a VERY problematic LP regarding the audio quality but this copy PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT to an extremely high standard with NO groove-wear or distortion. There are NO scratches, skips or jumps and barely any clicks/pops (really, hardly any) - which is incredibly rare for a first press (or in fact, ANY press) of this album. Must be very critically graded as NEAR MINT and in my experience first press copies really DO NOT COME MUCH BETTER THAN THIS. SUPERB
SLEEVE: The cover still retains the original black shrink wrapping with the WYWH sticker. As I am sure you are aware this wrapping is very delicate and easily damaged but this one is in STUNNING condition. It has obviously been kept inside a protective sleeve all its life as the edges of the black plastic are factory-fresh and completely unworn. Apart from the withdrawal at the opening edge the wrap covers 99% of the sleeve with only THREE tiny little holes and one protrusion at the bottom corner (please see photographs) and it looks like the wrap has NEVER been taken off the sleeve so the cover underneath should be perfect (although there is a little discolouration to the exposed white edge of the sleeve). One of the finest examples of this black wrap I have seen - BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN and FRESH. Extremely rare to find so pristine
INNER SLEEVE: The original first issue inner with square cut corners and 9" opening thumb notch is in EXCELLENT condition with just the beginnings of a split to the bottom edge (less than 1 cm). The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any more 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
POSTCARD: The original, serrated edge, GLOSSY postcard is CLEAN, BRIGHT and UNMARKED with just one minor light crease. NEAR MINT
