Gradings: -

Outer Sleeve: EX

The sleeve retains much of its black outer shrink wrap cover . Although it is not joined together at the top edge, the sleeve does not freely move around inside the shrink.  There is a tear in the shrink on the back cover at the bottom but overall the shrink covers over 90% of the sleeve. The black shrink cover also has the iconic Wish You Were Here sticker plus a vintage record store sticker complete with original price of £3.60!!!  The sticker even has the catalogue number SHVL 814 print stamped onto it!

Vinyl: EX+

The Vinyl is in EX+ condition. Absolutely stunning condition with just a handful of very fine hairlines visible only under bright halogen light. With jet black mirror like surfaces, this LP is an absolutely beautiful copy which can only have been played a handful of times. Stunning.

Matrix:

Side 1: SHVL 814  3 GDL
Side 2: SHVL 814  1  LG

Labels: NM

The Labels are in Near Mint condition – perfectly clean with one or two very feint spindle lines which can only been seen when viewed under a bright halogen light.

Card Inner Sleeve:  EX+

The 1st print inner sleeve is in EX condition. It has a slight impression where the record has sat inside the sleeve in the past, but the inner sleeve remains very clean and in nice condition overall.

Postcard : EX-

The original Postcard with serrated edge is in EX- condition and has a crease line to one corner although it lies completely flat and is perfectly clean .

This LP also comes with a generic inner sleeve which dates from the 70’s.  This is a bit creased and would grade at VG+.

Overall this is a really superb original 1st pressing complete with shrink wrap, lyric inner sleeve, postcard and stunning first matrix copy of this classic album.  Copies this good are very rare nowadays.

Postage and Packing:

All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers.  My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
