Description
This is a first UK pressing of Pink Floyd's 'Animals' with picture labels and widespine gatefold sleeve. The sleeve is in lovely crisp, clean condition, just some very mild wear to the corners, a small very minor crease to the rear and a tiny blemish to the front picture visible in the scan. The spine is perfectly straight and all edges fully intact, a fantastic example, graded EXCELLENT PLUS. The heavyweight vinyl, which has A2-U, B3-U matrix numbers in the run offs, has a beautiful deep gloss with just a few very light hairlines visible only under very bright light. It plays superbly too, just the occaisonal light static crackle during the quieter moments,no loud pops, clicks, sticks, jumps or distortion. Has clearly been barely and very carefully played graded MINT MINUS. The labels are beautifully clean and show very little sign of play, the black card lyric inner with rounded edges is fully intact. A lovely copy of this UK Floyd first pressing, would be hard to better.
I have been a collector for any years and a now selling most of my vinyl to fund a change of career. All records are thoroughly cleaned on my ClearAudio Smart Matrix machine and then carefully played on a Rega Planar 3 deck with Goldring cartridge. I use strict RC gradings with plus and minus to indicate variation and all records are sent out in professional mailers. I offer a full refund minus return postage should you not be satisfied with how I've graded a record. Basic postage for 1 LP/12" is £3 for UK first class, £8 Europe airmail & £10 Rest of World airmail. Insured and signed for options also available, will combine postage for more than one record.
