Description
This is a copy of the first American stereo pressing of Pink Floyd's debut 'Piper at the gates of dawn' on the orange Tower label. This release differs from the UK version, missing 3 tracks but adding 'See Emily Play'. The non-laminated sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition, intact but with splits to the spine and bottom edge, a pretty clean example, though a previous owner has written his name in small letters towards the top right hand corner of the cover. The vinyl is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition, light marks visible but plays very well indeed. Just some occaisonal very light background crackle between tracks and a few light pops every now and then. It has no loud clicks, pops, jumps, sticks or distortion, a very nice listen! The labels are clean though again the same name appears in small letters on each side. A nice example of this collectable Floyd Piper variation
I have been a collector for any years and a now selling most of my vinyl to fund a change of career. All records are thoroughly cleaned on my ClearAudio Smart Matrix machine and then carefully played on a Rega Planar 3 deck with Goldring cartridge. I use strict RC gradings with plus and minus to indicate variation and all records are sent out in professional mailers. I offer a full refund minus return postage should you not be satisfied with how I've graded a record.
