For sale here is , THE PINK FLOYD-PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN origional UK pressing on the BLACK AND BLUE COLUMBIA LABEL. Released in1967, stereo SCX 6157.
COVER.NON-Gatefold FLIP-BACK format and laminated front ONLY . Rare in this condition, it is very flat with very little creasing, just a few light ones . The spine and edges are in fantastic condition just light wear at the very tips of the corners. The front is totaly unmarked the laminate is very shiney with little evidence of rubbing to the surface,it has no evidence of laminate lifting or splitting, no writing, sticker residue or damage EX+ condition. The back sleeve has no writing, tears, seem splits or sticker residue, it does have a small stain top right and asmall amount of rubbing to the flip-backs. Overall this is in stunning condition for a 37 year old sleeve. EX (It also comes with it's original inner sleeve)
LABELS.. There are minimal spindle marks, but no stickers , tears or writing. EX+/EX+
VINYL. Quality heavy vinyl pressing. Visually both sides are in nice condition with a few light surface marks. Both sides still have their origional deep black shine. Both sides of this superb album play without sticking or jumping.There is evidence of an often played album buy not enough to district from the brilliant music, the sound is full and strong with no distortion just great Floyd all the way through. The B-side does have background noise early on, but as the music begins it is soon inaudible. VG+ (a professional clean could remove the dust crackles)
