Description
Original 1st press classic Floyd LP with an early stamper signifying this was ONE of the 1st 900 ever made!
THE BELOW GRADINGS ARE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES WITH (+) TO MARK SLIGHTLY ABOVE, I DONT USE MINUS(-) AS AN EX- GRADE THAT HAS A SCRATCH/SURFACE NOISE IN MY MIND CAN ONLY EVER BE VG+
E J DAY sleeve is solid,has some light creases,flipbacks are intact,spine reads well,rear omits file under pop top right being a 1st pressing sleeve,back has some discolouration + writing,but grades VG+
16 LP advertising inner is original to this release + all intact at sides,minor discolouring, grades EX
Vinyl retains a nice gloss still,it hasnt been totally abused to death as some of these 60's have,lays dead flat on deck,plays with low level surface noise + good clear clarity with NO distortion,SIDE 1 has a few small very light scratches in places + non sounding marks here + there, grades VG+ / SIDE 2 has light marks when held under light there are a few light scratches + plays much the same as side 1 with NO distortion + low surface noise + grades VG+ / BOTH sides play all the way through perfectly with excellent mono reproduction + clarity
Labels are pen/writing free have light spindal useage + look VG++

From the stamper info above,this signifys of a very LOW pressing + has been estimated that this would of been between the 600-900th LP of PIPER ever pressed from EMI,very,very rare indeed
Overall this is a respectable example of a genuine 1st pressing of THE PINK FLOYD(as they were) Debut lp,a true masterpiece in MONO,everything about these mixes are by far better than the stereo,if you have a stereo copy + listen to a MONO you have your answer.
