Description
Classic DEBUT from The Pink Floyd (as originally named) on the Columbia label in MONO!
Sleeve has light creases + some half moon as well,corner wear is light,spine reads well with two creases,rear has no ringwear or writing/pen,the flipbacks are all intact,the sleeve has no splits,also the top flipback is BLANK with No 'file under pop' text signifying an early sleeve OR maybe even a handful were made at the other EMI factory,all these Piper lp's are 1st pressings on blue/black labels + anyone who suggests that the blank flipback makes it a 1st pressing is incorrect as these were never pressed again back in 1967! No nasty staining to rear either,Grades VG++
Vinyl is not warped,has light marks to each side,whilst there is nothing deep,it has been loved + played over the years,the sound is ok but does have some light distortion in places,this is not on every track + if you can accept some light crackle in places then you wont be put off,crackle/static is low,plays through fine with no problems,Grades G++ to VG
Comes in unsplit original EMI advertising inner EX
Labels are clean + look VG++ with KT tax code to side 1
