Norwegian Proby issues are notoriously hard to find, even here in Norway, although a couple of titles crop up every now and then. This one, though, is totally in a league of its own. Until a few years ago it was only rumoured to exist, and I’m quite certain it has never been announced in a net auction (or any other auction for that matter) before. Issued on the obscure Nor-Disc label, I think maybe three copies are now known to exist. The record itself is in quite good shape, with crisp, clean labels (and nice design too, eh?), conservatively graded to Vg+. The sleeve is a little more tattered, and the scans probably say more than any description. Being a slip sleeve; a folded piece of paper sold in a plastid bag, the original owner has taped the sleeve on both sides. The tapes were already removed when this item came into my hands, but the tape marks remain. There are some foldings and creasings, a few tears from the top opening, and some seam split in the bottom. I guess the scan speaks for itself, but pressed to grade, I’d say Good, possibly Fair. On the plus side: there’s no writing on the sleeve, and properly displayed in a plastic bag, the overall impression isn’t too bad. And then this is a truly unique item, and most likely a once in a lifetime opportunity. Hope it’ll find a good home.

Grading: I don’t use Mint or Mint Minus, as I usually don’t deal in uncirculated records. My gradings are Ex (only the tiniest hint of previous use), Vg+ (used, but still a great copy), Vg (used a bit, but still enjoyable), Vg- (still ok, sort of, but beginning to deteriorate), G+ (noisy but still playable, sleeve still in one piece but not very nice looking). All gradings: record first, then sleeve.
NO Mint, NO M-, NO Ex+, NO Ex-, NO Vg++ etc. EXCELLENT IS THE HIGHEST GRADING.
Payment: Paypal, or payment sent by registered or regular mail (on sender’s risk & responsibility, although Norwegian postal system is quite safe). I welcome US $, Euros, UK £ or Scandinavian KR, but sorry, NO checks, cards or IMO’s.
Actual Norwegian postal rate for shipping to Europe is $7, rest of the world $ 12, which means at $4 I will be shipping at a loss. Hopefully, good prices can make up for that. However, with the eBay Buyer Protection making me responsible if you don’t receive the shipment, I must take precautions. The only way to avoid fraudulent claims that shipment didn’t arrive (which IS a problem, unfortunately), is this: ALL PURCHASES EXCEEDING $ 150 MUST BE SENT REGISTERED. This service is a whopping $20 extra, but the only way to have the shipment tracked for everyone’s safety. I’m sorry about having to take this precaution, and it does of course not apply if you’ve bought stuff from me previously.
