Description
1969/USA/Hobbit H.B.5000.....A pleasant and largely undiscovered dreamy rural rock album. Their dreamy organ sound, fragile harmonies and backwards fuzz guitar is best represented on tracks like Who's Drivin' This Train, You Can't Make It Alone and Mrs. Que. Others veer more towards pop, particularly the beautiful Silence and pleasant pop/rock of Not The Same. Certainly no lost gem, but its ten cuts all are originals and the album's worth checking out. RE: FUZZ, ACID & FLOWERS.... ..here's a flat factory Sealed original pressing of this scarce dreamy rural psych/rock lp on the same label as Randy Holden and Sapphire Thinkers, the tracks are: who's drivin this train, you can't make it alone, that's how much, short fairy tale, not the same, num-bird, what can you do, fire hydrant, silence, and mrs. que, there is a delete hole through the center of the cover and record(labels), seems most Hobbit lp's were deleted and drilled through the center of the cover, there is a very small tear bottom right at opening where the shrink is torn, small shrink missing top opening edgeand cover is lightly faded there, a very nice original Sealed copy!, please check my auctions for other folk, psych and rock lp's, good luck and thanks for looking!
