Description
No doubt, Plastic Penny were one of the best 60s bands, they cut lots of killer tunes as "Baby you're not to blame", "Take Me Back", "Give Me Money", "It's a good thing" or "Sour Suite" ;-)
Here's one of their best efforts, taking both tracks from their second Lp, "She Does" is absolutely brilliant, Heavy British Psychedelic Pop with racous vocals, pounding drums and heavy guitars, reminds me a bit of the Gods or heaviest Beatles tunes, but with a Plastic Penny own sound...This one is a long time fave on the Mod/60s scene.
"Genevieve" is also great, more into psychedelic-pop with a baroque feel and a great organ work!
Very rare US pressing with coloured label and....what a superb pressing on heavy vinyl and ultra loud sound!! As good as the british one.
