PLAYBOY CLUB BUNNIES Caught Live (Decca SKL 4951) Cheesecake RARE UK 1st Pressing MINT-
RARE first UK pressing of The Playboy Bunnies longplayer "Caught Live At The Playboy Club" on Decca Records (1968). 

A prime cut of collector`s cheesecake, "Caught Live" features what must have been the in-house band of the London Playboy Club, accompanied by an assorted choir of Playboy Bunnies. Together, they giggle and wail their way through a collection of contemporary chart-toppers such as "Gimme Some Lovin`", "Quinn The Eskimo", "Stop! In The Name Of Love" - and of course producer Ivor Raymonde`s self-penned classic, "I Only Want To Be With You" (a top-ten hit for Dusty Springfield). 

Ah well, what can I say? Definitely a collector`s item for those with appropriately sublime, timeless tastes.

GRADING:

EX COVER with a fair amount of handling wear. Please see photos for details.

- Original front-laminated UK first pressing sleeve.

- A bit of laminate lift along the spine. Laminate as such is undamaged.

- Creasing along the edges and spine, with a larger crease at top right.

- Record imprint on the cover, front and back.

- Also includes the custom-printed Decca Records inner sleeve in undamaged EX++ condition.


...and now for the really good news!

MINT- RECORD, played  a few times at most. Absolutely minimal wear and superb audio all the way!

- A few faint hairlines, mostly from sleeve removal.

- Slightest background crackle in between some tracks.

- Original first-pressing "unboxed" Decca Labels with no visible spindle wear!

- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "ZAL-8392-1W" and "ZAL-8393-1W", thereby denoting an original, first UK pressing of "Caught Live".


PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay UK, this item is in honestly-graded EX to MINT- condition: You will not find another copy of "Caught Live At The Playboy Club" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price. "True value for money" is the motto here!
