Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Always been hard to find, an off-the-beaten-path release, the last gasp stand by the famed pop-stars who wouldn't give up! This Lp attests to the fact that The Monkees retained the ability to create catchy tunes....

Well, this was the last and final album by the Monkees, and most fans and record collectors didn't even know it existed. The Lp is actually pretty solid, filled with catchy pop-craft tunes formed and shaped by the producer from their early successful days.
However, looking at this album from a crafted pop-rock standpoint, it was very good. Lets just say if Davy and Micky had never in the Monkees, and this very album by "Davy and Micky" appeared with all these songs, it easily could have been very successful. Most of the songs are very catchy. Maybe the Monkees had gone against what they fought for, but that doesn't take away from this being a solid pop-rock album.
1. Oh My My - Very catchy song, and probably one of the favorites on the album. This could definitely been a popular song had the Monkees not been over by '69.
2. Ticket On A Ferry Ride - Sounds kind of like a typical 60's pop-rocker song. Is that Peter Tork in the background???
3. You're So Good To Me - Probably one of the better Davy Jones songs. Again, unbelievably poppy, but who cares...that doesn't make it bad. Highly rated!
4. It's Got To Be Love - This is a pretty good & solid love song sung by Micky.
5. Acapulco Sun - Another decent song. Has a catchy beat to it.
6. 99 Pounds - This was a song recorded 1966, passed over at that time. It's decent but an obvious attempt to be very Beatle-esque.
7. Tell Me Love - Another decent love ballad sung by Mick that could have been a hot if released during their earlier period.
8. Do You Feel It Too? - A very good Davy song, pop-rock craft perfected!
9. I Love You Better - This was the flip-side of the their 45 "Oh My My" and perhaps the most catchy song on the album. You just can't help but sing along with it!
10. All Alone In The Dark - This is kind of a change-up song. Sounds much different from the rest of the album.definitely not in the pop-rock vein, but a welcome varied style by the duo.
11. Midnight Train - This one was actually written by Micky. A different version exists of this song on "Missing Links Volume 3", and is on reruns of the "Chaperone" episode.
12. I Never Thought It Peculiar - typical Davy Jones pop-rock jingle!
CONDITION: The cover: rated: VG++ bit of minor light shelf rub but nothing near serious (see photo) ... hard to find without wear at all because the cover is highly prone to wear easily. This copy a collection worthy item, 48 years of age. There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... VERY collection worthy appearance ...
The vinyl: Rated: strong VG++ brightly shiny, visual are a few very minor hair scuffs that do not affect the clean/excellent audio. Both Colgems labels are clean
