Description

NIXA PLP 582 Red Label 1955?

Janos Starker

Bach Unaccompanied Cello

Suite No.1in G

Suite No.4 in E flat

CONDITION

The label area shows no spindle or other marks.

The record surface shows wear. There are "hairlines" but there are no major scratches.Visually I would want to classify as Very Good.I have played the record and was struck by the clarity and sharpness and I am pleased to report the record played through without any hitch.

The cover is a puzzle. My guess is that it is "home made". It is made of stout card and is a gatefold sleeve. The drawing on the front is an accomplished work of art  in my opinion. The back has the original Nixa sleeve notes. Overall it is in need of a little repair along the spine so again the classification will be Very Good.
