Released on November the 8th 1971, this Lp was to define the 70's hard rock scene... & what an album!! Entering the UK charts, straight in at the No. 1 position.

Yes....That good.
I have just gently cleaned her with a Pro-Ject VC-s MKII vacuum record cleaner and then listened to her all the way through...
The bass is deep and rich and the highs are simply fantastic....TURN THIS BABY UP-I did!
FLAT as the day she was born.
There are only light marks to the vinyl, which produce the very odd and very occasional bit of light background crackle in the quiet sections-but nothing at all to ruin my enjoyment of a fantastic album! She blasted out with clarity throughout-NO JUMPS OR SKIPS. (I recorded the start of the quietest track on the album to showcase this great audio)

 Original GATEFOLD cover with some handling and storage wear to her-BUT...it is the first printing run with matte black interior gatefold and not the later glossy and even lighter black inner panels-Please see the pictures provided.
Some knocking to the top and bottom corners of the spine and some rubbing to the edges-with the spine rubbed but not all the way through.

The Inner:

It is the ORIGINAL 1st print inner...NOT the later one which has the K 50008 catalogue number to the top...This one DOES NOT have any catalogue number printed on it.
With the lyrics to Stairway to one side and the records tracks to the other she has been used and has splits...Completely to two sides and opens like a pizza box ;)
