Description
This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of the debut 12" by British anarcho/feminist punk group the Poison Girls, released in 1979. The group were closely allied with fellow anarchists Crass -- their debut 1980 LP was put out on that band's label -- and their music was similarly adventurous, if somewhat less abrasive. They were led by singer and guitarist Vi Subversa, who as a mother of two then in her late 40s was an unlikely figure in the punk scene. The sleeve has creasing in one corner, along with light ring, seam, and edge wear (EX-). The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays close to M- with occasional light surface noise (EX+). The record comes with a lyric insert (M-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
