Description
This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of the second LP by British anarcho/feminist punk group the Poison Girls, a blistering live recording released in 1981. The group were closely allied with fellow anarchists Crass, and their music was similarly adventurous, if somewhat less abrasive. The group was led by singer and guitarist Vi Subversa, who as a mother of two then in her late 40s was an unlikely figure in the punk scene. About half the tracks on this LP were previously unreleased; most of the rest are drawn from 1980 singles and their debut LP, Chappaquiddick Bridge. The record was released in a clear vinyl sleeve. It is in fine overall condition, considering its age, with some rippling and light discoloration, but no tearing (EX). The clear vinyl disc appears clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-). The record comes with an insert (M-) and a plain black inner sleeve (EX).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
