Description

Here is a rare punk rock classic. The POISON IDEA “getting the fear” 12in, released all the way back in 1988. This is the original pressing from ROCKPORT RECORDS. This copy is HAND-NUMBERED on the back of the sleeve, #282 of 1000 copies. Only one thousand copies ever made in total (with different coloured vinyls), a shame for one of the best HC punk records released in the late 1980s - sweet Chuck Manson / king of the Jews references. Also comes on white/pink splatter vinyl, this was limited as well. Here is the track listing:

Vinyl and sleeve are in MINT condition. The best part about this copy is that is comes with a copy of the HUGE, original poster. Most copies do not include this amazing, three colour poster, ESPECIALLY copies that are on Ebay. It seems like the last ten copies that have been on Ebay do not have the OG poster. As you can see from my picture, the poster is almost eight times the size of a 12in and very suitable for framing!!! HUGE amazing poster, makes this worth owning almost as much as the OG vinyl.

Only played this one once or twice in the last twenty years. There really needs to be a readily available reissue with this and the Filthkick 7" - definitely some of the best songs this band ever wrote!!!!!!!!! This comes with the OBI / lyric sheet (the lyrics are printed on the wrap-around insert). Its so hard to believe that this record came out 20 years ago!!!!!!! BID NOW, this is a rarity these days. One just sold for over $71.
