POLYDOR 184137:  CHRIS McGREGOR GROUP  'Very Urgent'

UK avant garde jazz rarity from 1968, this was the first UK album by this bunch of ex-patriate South Africans. McGregor (p) was joined by Mongezi Feza (p-tp), Dudu Pukwana (as), Ronnie Beer (ts), Johnny Dyani (b) and Louis Moholo (d). This is an UK 1st Polydor stereo pressing with red/black printing and white logo label. As far as I know there was no mono pressing.

Side 2 'The Sounds Begin Again'/'White Lies'/'Don't Stir The Beehive'

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is EtoE+ (VG+toVG++) with some light to very light scratches/scuffs only, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These have little affect on the playing. The cover is also EtoE+ (VG+toVG++), with very minor corner damage and some surface creasing, particularly around the top right hand corner (see photo).
