POP PSYCH 45:CHILDE HAROLD rare disc in PS 1967 LISTEN

After taking some time off from Ebay (for personal reasons) a couple years ago, I'm ready to continue parting with items from my
collection of nearly 40,000 promo singles, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 90's that I was fortunate to acquire from
doing 35 years of Rock Radio. All of my records are guaranteed original pressings.
In the 80's I advertised and auctioned off thousands of records in Goldmine magazine under the name of Hemp's Hits.
If you are a previous customer, you already know of my integrity as an honest dealer.
Those of you who are not familiar with me need only to check my Feedback. You can bid with complete confidence.

The most important thing you need to know, is that to the absolute best of my knowledge,
nearly all of the records I list, unless otherwise noted, have never ever been played on a turntable.

These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades. Some carefully, others were not.
All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous. However, because of various quality in pressings,
I cannot guarantee that the pressings themselves will be noise-free. That comes with the territory.
Many 50's (e.g. Chess, Vee-Jay, etc.) & 60's pressings, especially the small independent labels, were pressed "on-the-cheap."

I will not play these records for any reason. The record you receive will be like new and unplayed.
If there are any imperfections, it will be from many years of storage, or more likely a "not-so-great" pressing.
I will also not attempt to tell you if I think the song is "funky-terrific", "psych-fabulous" or the like. My opinion, would be just that...an opinion.

MY GRADING SCALE

Grading below is for the disc only. I'll throw in the corresponding sleeve when possible.
Sleeves show some natural wear from 40 years of storage. Many are perfect, others are not.
(remember...unless noted, these records, to the best of my knowledge have never been played)

NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from
decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area. It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me)
M- : A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides.
VG+: Scuffs and some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should play fine.

Record grading is subjective. That's why I offer a money back guarantee on
everything I sell (no refunds on shipping charges). Bid with complete confidence.

CHILDE HAROLD - "Brink Of Death" (mono / stereo)
Rare 1967 PROMO 45 rpm in original PICTURE sleeve
Visually Graded Condition of disc : VG+

(Limelight (primarily a Jazz label) made a valiant effort to enter the Psych genre in the mid-60's by releasing a select few bizarre (but interesting) records. This is one of them.
Most of the records I list here on Ebay are near mint. I wish this was included, but it must have come out of it's sleeve a couple of times over the past 40 years.
The mono side has an unfortunate scratch that, because of the quiet nature of this song, can be heard for about 30 seconds. But, frankly, I can't imagine
why you would want to listen to the mono side...when the stereo side is so much more fun.
The stereo side has some light scratches on the edges from storage, so, instead of just guessing on grading, I've included the first 2:00 of this
very disc for you to listen to below. You'll notice that most of the 'ticks' occur in the first 10-15 seconds. The rest plays quite nicely.
Sleeve has creased corners, but no tears, splits or writing. Back of sleeve has picture of the band (see pic) and a "promo - not for sale" stamp)

YOU CAN HEAR THE FIRST 2 MINUTES OF THIS RECORD BELOW.

YOU CAN HEAR A 2:00 CLIP (at 64k) FROM THIS RECORD HERE  (File size: 956kb)
(Need I mention that the record itself will sound infinitely better than this low-fi file?)
