This auction is for the extremely rare original LP pressing of the now legendary "Seven Churches" by Possessed. This is the original Combat Records green label pressing from 1985. The catalog number is MX 8024. This is a very nice copy overall as this one is getting more difficult to find in good shape. I would rate the record a strong VG+, close to NM...but I like to be on the conservative side. There are some very light marks that can only be seen under a bright light, but it's nice and glossy and plays great. The cover is on the slightly lower side of VG+ as well. There is some corner wear and usual shelf wear on the sleeve, plus a handful of slight impressions on the back, all of which are documented in the pictures so please zoom in and look closely. Very little ring wear on this one which is rare for a black cover. When it's in a poly sleeve, these flaws aren't very visible. The original inner sleeve is included as well and is in pretty good shape other than the usual seam splits and normal wear. I'll ship this in a poly sleeve in a sturdy cardboard mailer with tracking, and will remove the record and inner sleeve from the cover to avoid seam splits during transit.
