P.P. Arnold Something Beautiful Happened Acetate Rare Northern Soul Immediate 45

Description

This one of a kind acetate 7" of Northern Soul artist P. P. Arnold singing the unreleased on single 'Something Beautiful Happened' (spelt 'happend on the label) is a rare find. P. P. Arnold was known as the First Lady of Immediate after her first album of the same name. Her name does not appear on the label here but the producer Paul Korda is credited. This 7" single plays on one side only.

The vinyl itself is in VG condition - there are visible surface marks and light scratches from previous play although the record has retained a nice gloss. The record plays through nicely with no jumps, there is crackle and two clicks but the music radiates through nicely and is not overpowered. 

The outer Immediate sleeve is also in VG condition with some creasing and discoloration as can be seen in the photo - the condition is good for a record that is 48 years old (1968).

This is the holy grail for any vinyl collector.

I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

The record is cleaned then packaged in a protective sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.

Again, this really is a one off of this unreleased track from P. P. Arnold. A major asset to any collection.
