MINT TOP COPY !
Original pressing from no less than 38 years ago and really hard to find, haven't seen a copy of this one for years.
Basically, the BROGUES, a Northern California GARAGE band never recorded an album, but were highly noted for their two collectible 45's before two of their main members quickly jumped an offer to join the legendary QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE led by famed guitarist John Cippolina - just in time for the first QMS album.
Both guitarist Gary Duncan and drummer Greg Elmore continued with Quicksilver through all their important albums. In fact Duncan still heads the band, though concerts are few and far between 50 years later. Having caught the band in concert a few years back, Gary Duncan still displayed amazing guitar work that once complimented Quicksilvers' other guitarist, the long deceased John Cippolina.
The 4 track 12 inch features a great laminated cover complete with a detailed accounting of the Brogues history and continues through to 1971 as Quicksilver Messenger Service.
The tracks featured on this album are all legendary garage nuggets, highly sought for years as original local press 45rpm issues.
