Description
Up for auction is an original 1964 pressing of The Ronettes debut LP. Since Ronnie Spector's death this has been a hard one to find. The vinyl still retains decent luster but there are a few lightly feelable marks and surface wear. It plays pretty well all except the first track on the second side. There are a number of linear marks there and while it didn't skip on my system I could see it skipping on some. Oddly the noise from the marks falls in line with the beat of the tune so if it doesn't skip it's not too terrible. There are a few other spots with rhythmic ticks for a few revolutions and some crackle at times. Other than that one track it's still a very nice listen. The cover is solid, no splits and all spine text in good shape and readable. There is some fraying on both left hand corners.
