If you're looking at this vinyl, then you probably already know what it is. This is a very rare record 2000 US advance promotional vinyl 12". Features The Presidents of the United States of America and Subset, a band with the members of The Presidents along with Sir Mix-a-Lot. The Presidents are not mentioned by name anywhere due to a legal issue with their name at the time. This is what it has to say about the band who did Jupiter: "This song was recorded in Seattle by 3 musicians from a well known band. For more information on the group, log on to www.musicblitz.com and do a search for 'Jupiter'."
"Jupiter" is a single by the post-grunge band The Presidents of the United States of America. Released in extremely small quantities by MusicBlitz records via their webstore in 2000. The last few copies surfaced and were sold on the official PUSA store in 2005. Track one is by "The Quitters" aka PUSA and track 2 is by SUbSET. PUSA had to use a different name here as Sony still owned the rights to the words "Presidents", "United", "States" and "America" in the band name!
This is very rare and a Collector's Item, especially if you are a big fan of the Presidents of the United States of America, or Sir Mix-a-Lot. Copies have sold for well over $50, and this is a brand new copy, never played. The plastic is slit along the side, but this is new! Email me with any Questions.. Thanks for Looking!....
