1970 UK HARVEST 1St PRESS SHVL 774
(1-G & 1-G)
Here is a rare earliest uk harvest first pressing of this excellent classic 1970 prog-psych-rock album by the Brilliant band 'The Pretty Things'. The thick 1st press vinyl is in superb EX+ very clean condition and all tracks play excellently throughout. The front/back laminated gatefold sleeve looks great apart from some damage to the matt inside/bottom. The 1st press Harvest labels have no EMI logos and carry the earliest 'Gramophone Co. Ltd' rim text. The vinyl run-offs are etched with the earliest 1-G & 1-G mother/stamper codes. This is a great original early first issue that plays and sounds superb and will not disappoint.

1ST PRESS VINYL = EX to EX+
The first press thick stereo vinyl is visually in EX++ very clean condition, there are no bad marks, scuffs or scratches at all so there are no areas with repeated loud clicks or pops or annoying overly-loud crackle, there are only a few of the very lightest signs of careful play. This album plays and sounds excellent throughout with just some occasional light background crackle and the odd sporadic light background tic, this is actually almost none at all as all tracks play really great throughout. This vinyl really is in great condition so the sound quality is excellent and clear from beginning to end. This is a very nice excellent clean copy that will not disappoint.
1ST PRESS HARVEST LABELS
Both 1st press harvest labels are in excellent condition. There are some spindle traces and some very light spotting visible when tilted towards a certain light but there are no areas of wear and no marks.
FRONT/BACK LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE = VG
The front/back laminated gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. This cover would grade excellent if it was not for a damaged area to the inside gatefold at the bottom edges, this was caused when both sides of the cover had become stuck together and when opened out the unavoidable damage was caused. There is also a very small piece of clear tape at the inside top right edge, if removed this would also cause some damage so i have left it attached. The spine and edges have some noticeable storage/shelf wear. This cover does have some obvious damage but actually still looks in very good condition. The original harvest records advertising inner sleeve was replaced with a plain white poly-lined inner many years ago as the original had a large seem split.
