PRETTY THINGS 1ST PRESS STEREO SHVL 774 HARVEST 1970 WITH LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER AND MATRIX MIS-PRESS ON SIDE 2.ON SIDE 1 THE MATRIX CODE IS CORRECTLY STAMPED AS "SHVL 774 A-2".ON SIDE 2 THE MATRIX WAS FIRST STAMPED AS "SHVL 744 B-2" BUT THIS WAS A MISTAKE AND THE 2ND "4" WAS OVERSTAMPED WITH A "7" BUT THEN THE NOW "774" WAS CROSSED OUT AND A FRESH "774" WAS RE-STAMPED ABOVE IT TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION.
This is an ultra rare stereo 1st press with 1P/1R stamper codes with green harvest labels with black print and 1st press laminated gatefold sleeve and rare 1st press corrected matrix code error.
I clean all my vinyl on a cleaning machine and play grade all vinyl.All sides of the vinyl are in excellent condition with some very light hairlines which only cause some light crackle in the quieter of places.The vinyl still has a deep shine and lustre.All the labels are in excellent clean condition with some light spider marks in the small centre circle.The laminated sleeve is in lovely condition with just a little ringwear to the rear of the gatefold.The spine is straight and true with just a 10mm patch of colour loss.The top and bottom opening edges have just a tiny amount of colour loss and are straight and true.The opening edges are still quite straight and true.The inside of the gatefold is clean and in excellent condition.
A HARD TO FIND LP IN PLAYABLE CONDITION AND WITH A RARE OVERSTAMPED AND THEN NEWLY RESTAMPED MATRIX MISPRESS.DO NOT MISS OUT !!!!
