NOT MINT OR EXCELLENT BUT A GOOD COLLECTION FILLER. NOT SUITABLE FOR A FUSSY COLLECTOR
Released in 1970 on the unboxed HARVEST label, I am offering today this hard to find first UK pressing of this classic first HARVEST album by THE PRETTY THINGS which is titled PARACHUTE. This is a very first pressing with no EMI box on the label with Gramophone rim text. The vinyl shows some scuffs but I have just play tested it and am pleased to say that it plays well with no sticks or skips but there is light crackle throughout.
The album comes complete with its original Hipgnosis designed outer laminated gatefold sleeve which apart from some shelf wear with wear to the top inch of spine is very presentable. Needless to say it has no splits or tears or unwanted writing etc.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually is good as it shows some scuffs and marks etc. Audibly it plays well with no sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The Hipgnosis designed outer laminated gatefold sleeve is in reasonably clean condition. no unwanted writing or splits etc but there is some wear to the top of the spine and a there is a couple of lamination creases marks.
The LABELS, The Harvest labels are clean. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The generic inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
