Description
The Pretty Things - 'S.F. Sorrow' - 1968 stereo LP on the blue / black Columbia label - SCX 6306. Matrix nos YAX 3738 - 1 and YAX 3739 - 1.
The sleeve of the LP is generally clean; there is cracking to the laminate at the spine but all lettering remains readable. There is corner and edge creasing particularly to the rear but no horrible splits or tears. I will grade as VG+.
The record has a lot of faint / light marks as well as a more pronounced mark on track 4 of the first side. It plays with some surface noise which is probably at its worst at the end of side one; there are also a few light clicks but generally the album remains very listenable to with any interference often in the background and not in my view spoiling the overall sound and listening enjoyment. Certainly not perfect but also not awful - I will grade as VG.
