A truly impressive plus condition copy of this1969 Pretty Things psych gem with the outstanding stereo sound quality being a true highlight
Year/Label : 1969 GERMANY EMI COLUMBIA Label number : 1C 062-04 004 Matrix numbers : 1C062-04004-A-1 YAX 3781-1, 1C062-04004-B-1 YAX 3739-1Excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl - gleaming vinyl with an impressive jet black sheen still, and in normal daylight looks completely unmarked. Even with close scrutiny under a bright light it is only a couple of extremely fine wispy hairlines that can be identified - nothing feelable or obvious and each purely superficial as evidenced by the flawless stereo sound quality. Remarkable, especially when considering that this record is 57 years old! The labels are in excellent plus (EX+) condition also - just a couple of small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label, otherwise perfect. Clearly this is a record that has been little played. Very good plus (VG+) condition front and reverse side laminated gatefold outer sleeve - firm edges with no scuffing, a rigid spine with all spine text perfectly intact, no cardboard creasing, near perfectly defined right angled corners with barely any rubbing at all, firm opening edges with some very minor occasional fraying on the reverse side edge and all colours, iconic art work, text and photos remaining in great condition with excellent definition still. The only blemishes are just the hint of some extremely mild ringwear on the reverse side (only visible with the sleeve held to the right angle in the right light) and a few occasional and small light marks along the top edges on the inside of the gatefold - all very trivial. Do take a good look at my photos where I have attempted to give a detailed and honest portrayal of the condition of this iconic gatefold. Terrific excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion, clicks or background crackle, just wnderful tone and crystal clear stereo reproduction throughout. Every track remains a brilliant listen - what an underrated psych gem this remains!. Comes in excellent plus condition plain white poly-lined inner sleeev with no edge splits and "N/4 /14 1 /1! text in the bottom right corner - I have no idea whether or not this is the original inner sleeve. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A must for any psych vinyl fan, with the terrific stereo sound quality being a true highlight.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
