Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my spare beat and progressive music records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 2nd U.K. STEREO pressing of The Pretty Things – S.F. Sorrow on the SILVER / BLACK Columbia label with ONE EMI BOX, cat. no. SCX 6306, dating from 1969.
The record is in VG+++ condition; there are a couple non-sounding hairlines and a few non-sounding superficial marks only. The labels are in EX minus condition, there are a couple spindle marks and some very slight wear around the spindle hole on both sides.
The gatefold cover is in EX minus condition; there is some minor age browning on the inside of the gatefold. Further there is nothing wrong with this cover, except from some minimal handling and storage wear; no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
The original EMI advertising inner sleeve is also still present and is in VG condition. One seam on the side and the bottom seam are tape repaired, the other seam has a small split. Further there is a fair amount of wear along the opening edge.
This is an extremely rare 2nd U.K. STEREO pressing of The Pertty Things’ S.F. Sorrow album with only ONE EMI BOX in a very decent condition. Most of these records went to wild parties and were played to death, but this one wasn’t. This copy is a must have for all Pretty Things Fans and / or psychedelic music fans! Happy Bidding!
