Ultrarare 1964 UK PRINCE BUSTER Single Release!
Record is in still very good Condition with quite a few fine Hairlines, some light Scuffmarks as well as and some expected light general Agewear discernable.
Vinyl is still very shiny. Labels are in in still very good Condition but has a dry Stickermark on A-Side Label and a Name written on B-Side Label.
Single is housed in a plain Record Sleeve.
Featured here is a superb Double-Header by PRINCE BUSTER with "Al Capone" on the A-Side backed by the equally strong "One Step Beyond" (which was later covered by MADNESS)! I'm though a bit confused about this Single Issue??
Research seems to indicate that it is a 60's Re-Issue but Release Date on Label gives "1964" as the Release Date which would make it an earlier Release than the actual listed Releases of this Single which indicate that the Record was released in 1965 in England. Therefore I will list it as a 1st Edition, unless Someone can clear up the Mystery of this Issue? ;-)
Either this could be the earliest known Release of the Single or, at worst (due to the Center Push-out Label) still be a 60's Single Issue of this Classic!
One Fact is sure though, in any Case, this is a very rare Issue of this particular Single and is definitely more uncommon than the traditional blue Label Issue from 1965!
With the Record in this still very collectable Condition an absolute Must-Have for any PRINCE BUSTER or SKA Record Collector!
