Definitely in the top 10 of Prince Buster rarities this scorching Blue Beat Ska recording leans heavily on the new pop sensation of the time for inspiration. So, you get typically up-beat ska with a very Beatles-esque chorus. Somehow it all works together really well, plus you get the fantastic "Healing in the Barnyard" on the flip. You know Buster's not talking literal farming here but the infectious rhythm will fill any dance floor. Although this has seen a few plays and the vinyl has some light marks the playback is still excellent, loud and clear with just the usual background pops and clicks you'd find on any ska recording. Essential ska that will sit very well in any collection.
Please check my other listings for more hard to find ska/reggae 45's from Laurel Aitken, Afro-Enchanters, Tommy McCook, Prince Buster, Baba Brooks, Rico Rodregez and more. Plus more rare singles, including by the following; Neil Christian & the Crusaders (feat. Jimmy Page), Guy Darrell, the Koobas, Mike Sheridan (feat. Roy Wood), the Alan Bown Set, Fresh Air (super rare heavy psyche), Can, Pink Fairies, the Electric Prunes.
