PRINCE BUSTER & his all stars
A Side, AL CAPONE.
B Side, ONE STEP BEYOND.
On BLUE BEAT RECORDS
I bought this record new in 1966 at
THE LABELS ARE VERY GOOD, SOME LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS,
This record has a good shine with some light marks/scuffs but it played well on my iPro deck, and the sound was really good, just some light background at high volume, no clicks, sticks or jumps.
Please be aware this may not be the case on better Equipment.
I bought this record in 1965 in a fine record shop that used to be situated in the approach to Clapham Junction Station called “Redings”
I play all my records before I put them on, but I have to say, this just brought back wonderful memories of my teenage years in south London when I was privileged to hang out with a bunch of guys whose parents had come over on the Windrush, I must have looked odd as the only white guy, but they taught me more about life then anyone. We lost touch when I moved to Kingston (Surrey sadly not Jamaica!) it was a sad loss.
A Wining bid with less then 10 feedback and/or a membership of less then 6 months will be ignored,
We will then go to the under bidder with a 2nd chance offer, Thank You. JUST A WORD ABOUT POSTAGE-
SADLY UNLIKE THE DEALERS, PRIVATE SELLERS HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE DISCOUNTED COURIERS AND PACKING MATERIALS, WE ALSO HAVE TO PAY A 10% COMMISSION TO EBay ON OUR POST AND PACKING CHARGE. IT TAKES ME ½ AN HOUR TO PACK A RECORD TO MY HIGH STANDARD, I ALWAYS POST WITHIN 24 HOURS USING 1ST CLASS, I BELIEVE MY P/P COST ARE FAIR.
I HAVE A HUGE RECORD COLLECTION AND I AM NOW SLOWLY SELLING THEM ON (I am burning to CD so I still have the sounds) AS MY GRAND KIDS HAVE NO INTEREST- IPODS?? PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE OTHERS ON NOW, MANY MORE TO COME.
