Description
Up for bid is an exceptional and MEGA RARE ONE SIDED (the flipside is a blank) pre-promo PROMOTIONAL 12" record in NEAR MINT- condition by PRINCE and the New Power Generation titled "GETT OFF". PLEASE NOTE: The printing on the LP cover jacket is in PURPLE and not BLACK as it appears in my photos. This is a result of my inexpensive camera (which I love) and my almost total lack of photographic skills. Both the cover jacket (with almost all the info there was to get from this release written on the front cover in PURPLE letters) with it's solid seams and clean front and back is in near PRISTINE condition. The vinyl appears UNPLAYED however since this was a gift from a dear old friend and former LOS ANGELES area Disc-Jockey I cannot be certain if he had ever played it. There are no ID numbers or reference codes anywhere on the record jacket or the labels (see pictures). This record, I understand has been referred to by collectors as "THE DAMN NEAR 10 Min." PROMO. It is a very scarce record and this one is in exceptional NEAR MINT- condition. This will be one of the crown jewels of some VINTAGE collection. Good Luck To All Bidders!
